A mascara should generally keep for 3 to 6 months, depending on what it says on the tube. When you use mascara every day to revive and highlight your eyes, this adds to your cosmetics budget. In any case, you can be sure that the old mascara wand can be put to several other uses. Here are a few!

1) Make a mascara to promote eyelash regrowth.

3) Use the wand as an eyebrow brush

Brushing your eyebrows ensures they stay in a neat, pretty line. Do so before using your eyebrow pencil, and afterwards to create a smudged, more natural look. Furthermore, brushing your eyebrows will remove any traces of foundation that can build up around the eyebrows.

4) Remove clumps and smudges after applying mascara.

An unpleasant surprise, your new mascara forms clumps! To remove them, use a clean wand from an old mascara like a comb, using zig zag movements.

And if the mascara leaves a smudge on your eyelids, leave it to dry for a few moments and rub it delicately with the clean wand. The traces will disappear!

5) Combat frizz, flyaway hairs and rebellious eyebrows.

Spray some hairspray on the mascara wand and use it for frizz and flyaway hairs.

You can also use it on your eyebrows to keep them neatly groomed all day long.
