Bicarbonate of soda has so many uses around the home, but can surprise you if you include it in your beauty regime. Softer skin, tummy upsets, imperfections… bicarb can help!

1) Do you have trouble digesting or acid reflux? Drink a glass of water containing some lemon and a teaspoon of bicarbonate. You will no longer have a burning stomach.

2) Make gargles with a glass of water containing a teaspoon of bicarbonate and you can say goodbye to bad breath! It is also excellent for  sores, cavities and inflammation of the gums. This product reduces acidity and therefore there is less inflammation and risk of ulceration.

3) Are your feet tired by a long day or a tiring hike? Take a long, foot bath in a basin containing bicarbonate. You can also put it in your bath to protect your skin from the water that can dry it and attack it because of the limescale. So your skin will surely be more comfortable.
