Foot Mycosis, sometimes called ‘athletes foot’ is an infection which is caused by fungi or by yeast parasites which we call Candida albicans. It is found especially between the toes which is a warm and damp area where bacteria flourishes. It often provokes redness or itching which can be very unpleasant. Here is a way to get rid of them:
You will need ?
— baking soda or salt
— tea tree essential oil or grapefruit seeds
What to do?
1/Add two pinches of cinnamon to your morning drink.
2/Dilute four soup spoons of baking soda or salt in a litre of lukewarm water. Soak your feet for 15 minutes in this mixture. Dry them well when you remove them. Sprinkle the infected areas with baking soda just before putting on stockings or socks. The powder will absorb the humidity throughout the day or the night.
3/Apply 1 to 2 drops of tea tree essential oil or pure grapefruit seeds, directly onto the mycosis 3 times/day. Their anti bacterial and anti fungal properties help to destroy the mushroom.
If the mycosis persists, make an appointment with your GP.
